The Desacato 2021 wine, produced by the Pistacyl Group, obtained a Silver Medal at the Brussels World Contest held in May, in which more than 7,300 wines coming from almost 40 countries around the world have participated.
This event is one of the most prestigious competitions in the world and brings together experts from the entire wine sector to evaluate the wines presented by hundreds of wineries from around the world.
The jury, made up of renowned tasters from all regions of the world, has awarded Desacato 2021 a high score that has earned it a Silver Medal at the 29th edition of this event, which took place in the Italian town of Cosenza.
Desacato 2021 is a “quiet” wine, made by natural alcoholic fermentation of 100% Verdejo grape must, under the protection of the Rueda Denomination of Origin.
With a limited edition of 45,000 bottles, this is the second vintage produced by Grupo Pistacyl from grapes grown in its own vineyards in the Valladolid town of Fresno el Viejo and Pozal de Gallinas, where this agri-food family group originates.
Desacato is present in different catering establishments, supermarkets and shops in Andalusia, Cantabria, Castile and Leon, Catalonia and Madrid, and has also recently entered the French market.
In addition to the traditional glass bottle, it is also presented in an innovative, completely recyclable bag-in-box design format, in line with Grupo Pistacyl’s commitment to sustainability.
