Grupo Pistacyl, a family agri-food company from Castilla y León, has launched its new corporate website www.grupopistacyl.com , showing its commitment to innovation and sustainability in the development of its agricultural activity.
With a modern design that facilitates navigation, the new website is structured into different sections that detail the trajectory and main activity lines of this business group, and that cover the cultivation of pistachios, the production of DO Rueda wine and the provision of agricultural services.
In one of its sections, the website recalls the origins of this company, created in 2001 by the Pérez Heras brothers for the exploitation of vineyards in the town of Pozal de Gallinas (Valladolid), and explains how it expanded its activity until it is today as a business group at the forefront of sustainable cultivation and the main producer of pistachios in Castile and Leon.
Thus, this dried fruit is the protagonist of another of the sections of the web. It describes the characteristics and production process of this dried fruit, from the planting of pistachio trees in different plots of the Valladolid towns of Pozal de Gallinas, Moraleja de las Panaderas and Fresno el Viejo, to the harvesting and packaging of the pistachio, which Pistacyl commercializes natural, without roasting, salt or other additives.
Another section of the new website reflects the long winemaking tradition of the Pérez Heras family, which currently has 30 hectares of vineyards in the heart of the Rueda Denomination of Origin, where the grapes with which it has been producing its own wine, Desacato, since 2021 come from.
All this experience in the field of agriculture has allowed the Pistacyl Group to offer advice, specialized personnel and state-of-the-art machinery for work related to viticulture, pistachio cultivation and forestry services through its Agrícola Pistacyl company, to which the new portal dedicates another of its sections.
The website also emphasizes Grupo Pistacyl’s firm commitment to innovation, explaining its participation in different research projects with leading institutions and organizations such as the University of Valladolid, the CDTI and ITACYL aimed at optimizing production and quality, always under the premise of sustainability. This work has been recognized with different mentions such as the Innovative SME seal granted by the Ministry of Science and Innovation.
The new portal, which prioritizes graphic material with the inclusion of photographs and videos on the company’s crops or products, is completed with a news section and a job section open to anyone interested in collaborating with this business group.
