The Valladolid company Pistacyl, the largest pistachio producer in Castile and Leon, wanted to help the victims of the crisis in Ukraine by donating their pistachios.
For this goal, it has delivered more than half a thousand bags of pistachios, which have been sent to Ukraine to help alleviate the needs that the population affected by the Russian invasion is experiencing.
As indicated by the director of Grupo Pistacyl, Alfredo Pérez, “although it is a modest donation, with it we want
to bring a little hope to the families who are suffering from this tremendous war, and especially to the children, who are the main innocent victims of this barbarism”.
He added that with this small gesture we also want to convey “all our solidarity to the Ukrainian people and ask for an end to a conflict that has already caused thousands of deaths and the flight of more than two million Ukrainians to other countries.”
