The cultivation of the vineyard

Viticulture is part of the origin of the long agricultural tradition of our family, linked for decades to the cultivation of the vineyard, of which we are great connoisseurs.

For more than 20 years, with great care and passion, we have been committed to changing traditional cultivation methods for avant-garde systems with which we have been taking care of our own vines in Pozal de Gallinas (Valladolid).

We have also been expanding the cultivation area little by little, so that today we have 30 hectares of vineyards in the heart of the Rueda Denomination of Origin.

In 2021 we decided to make the leap to making our own wine, which we market with a limited production under the Desacato brand, a true declaration of intent.

Our wine

After collecting the best grapes from our vineyards, our wine is produced in a winery in the town of Puras.

There, the best of this fruit is extracted to make a fresh, fruity, clear and bright wine.

Its result is Desacato, a one hundred percent Verdejo wine with a unique, young and slightly irreverent personality, ideal to taste at any time and always in good company.

Despite its novelty, Desacato’s quality has already been recognized with the Silver Medal at the 2022 Concours Mondial Bruxelles.

Points of sale

Descato is already present in different catering establishments, supermarkets and shops in Andalusia, Cantabria, Castile and Leon, Catalonia, Madrid and even France.

PISTACYL S.L has been a beneficiary of the European Regional Development Fund whose objective is to improve the competitiveness of SMEs and thanks to which it has launched an International Digital Marketing Plan with the aim of improving its online positioning in foreign markets during the 2018. Thanks to this, it has had the support of the XPANDE DIGITAL Program of the Valladolid Chamber of Commerce.

PISTACYL S.L. ha recibido una ayuda para la ejecución del proyecto de Investigación y Desarrollo, de título “HOMOGENIZACIÓN DE LA PRODUCCIÓN  DE PISTACHO DE CASTILLA Y LEÓN BASADO EN LA CALIBRACIÓN DE AGRICULTURA DE PRECISIÓN” y número de expediente IDI-20200822 , a través del Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial (CDTI), ayuda cofinanciada por el Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional (FEDER) a través del Programa Operativo Plurirregional de España 2014-2020.

El objetivo general del proyecto es continuar con la especialización y aprendizaje en las buena prácticas del cultivo del pistacho, con el fin ser competitivos en el mercado actual por medio de la homogenización de la producción basada en la agricultura de precisión.
