From October 19 to 22, Grupo Pistacyl participated in a trade mission to London, aimed at showcasing its products and exploring business opportunities within the British market—a move aligned with the company’s internationalization strategy.
The initiative, titled “Foods and Wines from Valladolid – Taste & Meet the Producer,” was organized by the Valladolid Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services in collaboration with the Provincial Council, as part of the 2026 Internationalization Program for Businesses in the Province of Valladolid.
The mission enabled Grupo Pistacyl to gain insight into the characteristics of the British market and its consumers, present its product range, and establish connections with potential buyers and key influencers in the agri-food sector.
The core event of the trade mission took place on Wednesday, October 21, with a showroom hosted at Hispania London—a venue located in the heart of London’s financial district that serves as a showcase for Spanish gastronomy and culture in the United Kingdom.
Grupo Pistacyl hosted its own stand at the event, where it presented a wide array of pistachio-based products—such as pistachio oil and “Pistazetas” (pistachio-based chocolates)—to over 50 British buyers and industry influencers. The company also showcased its *Desacato* wine, which carries the Rueda Denomination of Origin (DO).
The day also featured a professional presentation and a product tasting, designed to facilitate direct engagement with prospective clients.
The program continued on Thursday, October 22, with one-on-one meetings with potential buyers and influencers who had not attended the showroom. These meetings helped expand the company’s commercial agenda and opened new avenues for establishing or strengthening its presence in the British market.
Additionally, the mission included a visit to the Spanish Commercial Office in London. There, the participating companies received insights into local market trends and consumer habits, as well as a guide to specialized shops and major retail chains in London—enabling them to examine firsthand the product formats, packaging, and positioning strategies employed in the United Kingdom.
