Gulfood 2026 Dubai, the largest international trade fair for the agri-food sector in the Middle East, was the first event on the calendar of international trade fairs that Grupo Pistacy plans to attend this year with the aim of further increasing its product exports.
This marks the company’s first participation in this event, held from January 26 to 30 at the Dubai World Trade Centre and Expo City Dubai, which brought together the leading players in the global food and beverage industry, with more than 8,500 exhibitors from 195 countries and over 134,000 visitors.
The presence of Grupo Pistacyl at the event was once again made possible thanks to the support of the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castile and León (ICECYL), which organized the joint participation of 18 agri-food companies in an institutional pavilion representing the region.
There, Grupo Pistacyl showcased the qualities of their pistachios to professional visitors, as well as all the products they make from this nut, such as pistachio paste and praline, and their innovative 100% natural pistachio oil.
The next major events on the international calendar will take place in February and will focus on promoting their Verdejo and Desacato Sauvignon Blanc wines, from the Rueda Denomination of Origin.
Thus, under a pavilion organized by Tierra de Sabor, the quality assurance brand to which it belongs, Grupo Pistacyl will once again be present from February 2nd to 4th at Barcelona Wine Week, the leading event for quality Spanish wine. This event will bring together more than 1,350 wineries from 90 Designations of Origin and quality labels, as well as more than 880 international buyers from strategic markets in Europe, America, and Asia.
A week later, the French capital will be the next destination for Grupo Pistacyl’s international promotion, as it participates once again in Wine Paris, again under the pavilion organized by ICECYL and through its partner ISC Wines. This is one of the world’s most important wine and spirits fairs, taking place from February 9th to 11th.
To close this first intense quarter, and also in partnership with ICECYL and ISC Wines, Desacato wines will return to the ProWein trade fair, which will celebrate its 31st edition from March 15 to 17 in the German city of Düsseldorf, consolidating itself as the essential event for professionals in the wine and alcoholic beverage sector, with 42,000 visitors and 4,200 exhibitors from 128 countries in 2025.
